3.0.1.2
AutoShutdownManager – now with voice and sound detection.
In addition to all previous functionalities, this new release adds the ability to analyze any noise or voices around the computer and so to prevent unwanted shut-downs, as long as a certain volume level is being reached.
This functionality can be useful e.g. during long telephone calls or in meetings where the PC is not being used for longer period of times, but has to stay available anyway.
There might be many other situations where the PC should be aware if someone or something is around and keep going as long as needed.
This new functionality recognizes the voice or noise through the standard PC’s or laptop’s microphone and keeps the PC running as long as a certain noise level exists.
How to use it:

Note that this functionality is currently only available for 32-Bit Systems. It will not be selectable under 64-Bit OS.
You need to select the micro as the default input device in windows and set an appropriate volume level.
In AutoShutdownManager , go to TAB “GENERAL”, enable "Voice Sensitive" and select the correct input device. As a sensitivity value, use 0 for the first moment – and go to the tab TIMER.
Now you’ll see the volume levels that are reported from the microphone in the monitor window. Find the best level that represents a valid volume. Go back to TAB GENERAL, enter the correct sensitivity level and save your settings.
